Energy Assistance for Low Income Households
At Puyallup Fuel we realize that the high cost of energy has a significant effect on your household budget. We are pleased to participate in Pierce County Energy Assistance Program. This program operates during the heating season, usually November through April. Resources are limited, and not all families requesting assistance are able to receive it. Benefit payments are based on the eligible household's actual fuel usage for the past twelve months. All applicants receive education and information on energy conservation, utility payment plans, and budgeting.
